Biography: Nikos completed his medical training at University College London in 2002, and following his House Officer jobs he went on to fulfil his National Service as a doctor in the Greek Navy. He then embarked on a MSc (Preventive Psychiatry) and a PhD (Psychiatric co-morbidity in Schizophrenia) at the University of Athens, before returning to London to train in Psychiatry. He moved to Nottingham in 2011 as a Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry, and since 2015 he is Consultant Psychiatrist at the Department of Psychological Medicine. Nikos is also an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Nottingham Medical School, and Chair of the Section of Preventive Psychiatry at the World Psychiatric Association.
